The final stretch has begun for Interaction Seeds – only 6 months to go to wrap up our vibrant art-science-citizen experiments and transform our best practices into lasting change!
To ensure that the project’s impact continues well beyond its lifetime, the consortium is now focussing on shaping a sustainability roadmap: a clear and actionable plan to replicate, scale, and share our most valuable outcomes.
Here’s a sneak peek at what we’re working on – and how you can get involved
InteractionSeeds repository: a living catalogue for inspiration
Our online repository showcases real-life examples of artistic and cultural interactions (the so called “Interaction Seeds”) that have demonstrated positive effects to co-create solutions or communicate Science to citizens, and that are easily replicable.
It’s a collaborative space: You can contribute with your own seed and become part of a community that values creative, citizen-driven science communication.

What’s next? We’re exploring a partnership with our sister project VOICE to create a joint, long-term repository, combining forces to amplify impact and visibility.
20 seeds, 20 local journeys, 20 success stories to spread the word
Over the course of the project, we’ve brought 20 seeds (i.e. interactions) to life in our partner regions – each one a unique collaboration between artists, researchers, civil society, and local communities.
These initiatives tackled real-world challenges with creativity, empathy, and scientific insight, from climate and health to inclusion and digital literacy.
What’s next? We’ve turned these into compelling success stories that are featured in the repository and will then be shared across digital platforms such as Participedia to inspire new projects and show what’s possible when disciplines meet.

A toolkit for Art-Science-Citizen collaboration
Based on our hands-on experience and learnings from the field, we’re creating practical guidelines to help others replicate and adapt our approach: interactive checklist, visual roadmap, mini-canevas, we are trying to be as creative and grounded as our seeds!
These will provide actionable advice for designing, facilitating, and evaluating successful art-science-citizen interactions – from small grassroots actions to institutional collaborations.
Coming soon! Our guidelines will be a key legacy of the project, and a valuable resource for cultural operators, researchers, policymakers, and educators alike.
